2006 Board of Directors
The Chrysler 300M Enthusiasts Club has a nine-member Board of Directors.
An e-mail was sent to all members in January of 2006, inviting members to
volunteer to be candidates for the 2006 Board. The Club received eleven
responses from very qualified members. The 2005 Board then decided that
there should be a membership-wide election. The nine board members listed
on the left were chosen through an online voting process. Once a board
was elected, those members nominated themselves for Officer positions.
A short personal bio of each candidate is below as a means to introduce the membership
to the 2006 Board.

The Officers
|
|
Ken Eyler - President
Ken Eyler (carfan77), member # 415 has been
a member since 2002, and is the current Club President, having served in
that capacity last year, and as Vice-President the year before. Ken is
a CPA in private industry by trade. He lives Northwest of Baltimore,
Maryland with his passions – cars, pets and wife (not necessarily in
that order). He and his wife Chérie each have an M, and she is in fact
member # 841.
Ken handles some Club
merchandise, sends out renewal packets and does his best to keep the
Club moving forward and flourishing. He enjoys the challenge a great
deal and hopes to meet every member at a Club event. He sends a
thank you to all of our members, and invites anyone to e-mail him at: president@300mclub.org

Tim Steward - Vice President
Tim Steward, Timbo on the message board, and Vice
President of the Club, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and
currently lives in York Pennsylvania, with his wife, Kelly and three
children, daughters Elizabeth and Emily and son Sean. He is Director of
IT and Security for Corporate Mailing Services in Baltimore, Maryland, a
125 mile round-trip from home, so his 300 M gets lots of use on the
commute!
Tim is a relative new-comer to the Club at member
#745, and is a first time Director and Officer, but he has already made
a great impression. Tim and his wife were instrumental in our Carlisle
event last year, planning, coordinating, and working their butts off
getting the on-site meals ready for a hungry crowd of M’ers and DI
folks, plus arranged the hotel for all of us. Lots of work they say,
but rewarding and filled with friends.

Don Scruggs
- Secretary
Another Charter member, #14, Don
Scruggs has been an integral part of the Club. He knows the ins and
outs of LH cars, and is known as the Professor for his great knowledge
of how to best mod an M for Drag Racing. Don has won a number of races,
but says he is returning his M to stock, and will race an older,
lightened and tuned Pontiac. He works with vehicles all day as a
manager for the Washington Metro Transit Authority body shop.
Don currently serves as
the Club’s Secretary, was Vice President last year, and Secretary before
that. He sends out new member packets, and arranges our magnificent
Club calendars. He lives in the DC suburbs of Maryland with his wife
Liz.

Paulette Parong-Waters -
Treasurer
Paulette Parong-Waters is proud member #4, and wife of
Roger Waters. She has been the Club’s Treasurer since the inception of
the Club. She has enjoyed being able to participate in this capacity,
watching the Treasury grow from just a few dollars in the beginning, to
a substantial amount enabling us to fund many meets, and also contribute
to several worthy charitable causes. Paulette, who lives in Las Vegas
with Roger and their dogs, travels to Hawaii on a fairly regular basis
to visit her family.

Directors
|
| Mike Brawley
BigMike60, as Mike Brawley is known on our message board, is Charter
member #26. This is Mike’s first year as a Director, though he has been
integral to many facets of the Club in the past, including meet
organizations, and arranging production of the infamous 300M street
signs! Mike is married and lives in Kentucky where he garages his 300M
and his Corvette. He is an active member of Clubs for both cars, and
enjoys the unique appeals of each. Mike also has made modifications to
his cars that have garnered him several awards. Mike is a retired Army
Colonel, service to the United States for which we are grateful. Thank
you Mike.

Robert Powell
Robert Powell is charter member 33, and lives in
Midlothian, Virginia. He has served the Club faithfully as its
President in 2003 and 2004, and currently serves as its Webmaster. He
works as an electrical engineer for a large tobacco company located in
Richmond that keeps him very busy. When not working, he spends time
with his families: his real family, and his online family aka the 300M
Club, attending as many meets as possible. He has a new 300C, and is
enjoying that as well! Robert has been a 300M owner since Feb 1999 and
still loves the car over 6 years later.

Rick Stilp
Rick Stilp has also been a
member of the Club since the very beginning – member #12, appearing as
Geezer300M on the club message board. Rick is serving his fourth term
as a Director. He really enjoys his M, having customized a few things
in ways no other member has. He loves this club and all its members,
including the camaraderie on the message board and the expert advice on
service issues. Rick has been a car-guy for a long time in the GM camp
– GTO’s, classic Chevy’s and Corvettes, with involvement in Clubs for
those cars. Rick handles many of the Club inquiries that come our way,
and lives in Indiana with his wife Shirley.

Stephen Epstein
Stephen Epstein is
another long-termer, charter member #76, though this is his first stint
as a Director. He appears as EasyRider300M on the Club message board,
which he moderates, and also posts way more than anyone else! His deep
involvement with the Club for many years has given him unique insight
into the organization, and his ambassadorial words of welcome to new
members and message board posters shine as a beacon to all. He lives in
Massachusetts, running his own business servicing Grandfather Clocks.
Stephen owns two M’s, a 2000, and a 2002 Special

Roger Waters
Roger Waters, Rogor2k on the board, has been involved in the Club since
its very beginning, helping to found the Club, and is in fact member
number 1. He was elected and served as the President of the Club for
its first two years, and has continued to serve on the Board for all but
one year. He still owns his 2000 Deep Slate 300M, and remains vitally
interested in seeing the Club continue to grow and flourish. Roger
handles our Club logo shirts and jackets, and offers sage advice to the
Club! He lives with his wife Paulette (member number 4) and their dogs
in Nevada.

The Club expresses its
deep appreciation to the three departing members of the Board, for their
contributions in 2005:

Hugh Mason
