Hello All,
I recently took my car to a Chrysler dealer and they did a full diagnostic regarding the steering wheel controls. And they determined I am in need of the "Clock-Ring"; this is the unit that all the buttons on the steering wheel plug into...
So, has anyone dealt with this and what was your solution?
And does anyone know the part number for this unit..?
Thanks!

Actually, it is a Clockspring. Only fix is to replace it. Replacement involves pulling the steering wheel and airbag before you get to the clockspring itself. Since you say you have the steering wheel controls, you will likely need the 7-wire unit. Verify this before you buy. Unfortunately, you probably won't be able to find one through the dealer since OEM parts for our cars are no longer being made. (Probably would be too expensive anyway.) Best bet would be Ebay or junkyard if you are mechanically inclined.
