That's quite alot of modifications! They might as well call it something other than a Crossfire!'03 Brilliant Black Special

For the same price, you could have a E55 AMG for when you need to take the family somewhere and a 911S Cabrio for when you need to take yourself somewhere. Both of which are faster than this modded up Crossfire.

Sounds kind of like what they did to the SLK32 AMG Baumuster which costs about $170K.

Well, if anyone had any doubts about the Crossfire being more Benz than Chrysler I do believe this will lay those doubts to rest. Just wait till you see the $227,000 Viper. :lol

ah...I see Husker. I agree that 100k for a chrysler is kind of out there (unless it's a souped up viper). I'd still rather have the MB CLK320 for $38 - $40k, or the 430 for 10k more.

Considering the asking price tripled for this makeover, I can't see the cost/benefit of it. I agree with Sdmike300m, for that kind of jingle there are plenty of alternatives that give as good or better bang for the buck. There are several AMG tuned Benzes available for less and are equally as exclusive.I imagine DC commissioned this to make a point, but I'm not sure it's a point the typical Chrysler customer is interested in.

I'd rather have a 300M AMG, like they do with the real MBs. I wonder how much one of those would cost with similar specs (ie. 400HP etc.)

a 300M AMG would probably go for more than $100,000 too, if they can built it! <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif" />Man! they'd charge more than $70,000 extra for that Crossfire! You can get a performance upgrade for a Dodge Viper to get it with over 800HP for less than $40,000!

Went to LA Auto Show yesterday. Brabus, I mean Startech lists the total cost at $64K not $100+.The car they list for $36K, which we no is wrong, you can buy them dirt cheap right now and the rest about $28K are in mods. That ad is seriously outdated and incorrect.
