my front resonator has a crack a good 6cm long and I was considering replacing it with the muffler below. I know from seeing dynos that the vortex doesn't cause that much more restriction over straight through glass pack, but since I'm not sure how the inside of the front "resonator" looks, do you think this muffler would cause more or less restriction than an OEM replacement?

The stock muffler is 2.5 inlet and outlet. The muffler you're looking at is only 2.25 outlet so it would be more restrictive. You would have to go back to 2.5 inch after that exit to bolt up to the rest of your exhaust.

Resonator, muffler, doesn't matter. It should be 2.5 in and out to be the same as stock.

I deleted my resonator and y'd the pipes back together. Gives a little bit of a waahhh around 2500-2700 if accelerating. Other wise it's a got a great rumble.
