where can you buy the y-pipe needed to make the staggered tips setup?

isn't there a standard pre-made y pipe that is setup as nonstaggard and then you could mount the 2 tips to get the staggered look.

my guess is that those exist, but in my case they made both sets. There are a couple of variables that are car/tip specific, like the diameter of the Y-pipe, on both the inlet side and the tip ends, and the distance between the "Y" portions, which will be contingent on the diameter and shape of the tips that you use. Easy, go to any local high performance shop and ask who they recommend to do the exhaust. It's probably some hole-in-the-wall place that does incredible work rather than those Midas guys that hire and train kids to slap mufflers on as fast as possible.

99kelser - post pictures of how it turned out. Many people have asked about getting two sets of pipes back for true duals.

EasyRider300M:Thank you for the compliment on the duals. I've been very pleased with the look. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Due to problems with the computer, I have not been able to use it for a week. As for the Y pipe, it appears that a standard Y was used and then modified. It looks like Russ cut the top of the Y to get the staggered look. These are the Magnaflow tips and all the work was done at Mesa Muffler (they provided everything). I would be happy to call Russ for more information if needed.

2001M. If you reduce the size of that picture people could see the whole view of the rear at the same time. Try reducing the size to 640x480 max.

Hey guys, how is everyone? I am asking all that have had duals done, I want the following and what would be best:1. Less Cost2. Less Noise3. Good Sound and Performance4. I want to keep stock collectorWhat muffler would be best to use and tips? Where is the best place on the web to get them? I have looked at RAVIN mufflers, Magnaflow, Borla, and Dynomax. Which is the best with less noise? Last, I do want all stainless as they last longer right? Thanks in advance for all advice on this. Mike and Don, help! Lol.Ben.
