2001 300m has a clunk noise when i brake in both front doors and does it again when i accelerate. It almost sounds like somethings loose inside the door panel. It's just one clunk not a rattling sound. Drives me nuts LOL. I figured I'd ask before I pull the door panels off if anybody else has had this problem.

Are you sure it's the doors and not the motor mounts?

Can't think of much clunking from the doors. Especially, both at the same time. It could also be struts, sway bar bushings or sway bar end links.

This almost sounds like a tension strut (bushing) problem allowing the front wheel to come back and hit the rear most portion of the wheel well of the very front of the rocker panel cladding.
