Hey guys (and gals), I tend to ask a lot of questions here, very odd ones most times, but I was wondering if you guys knew how to set the headlight time out delay? It is currently very long and I would like it much shorter to preserve life on my ballast's (I have HIDs) and bulbs. I tried following some walk-throughs online and the owners manual but I followed the instructions to have no prevail. So I was wondering what you all think.

Thanks in advance

On my '04, it's done through the EVIC (overhead console). Scroll through the menu, there should be an option to set headlight delay.

In the later model cars it is done through the evic.

I am not sure about a 99 to be honest.

99-2000 should have the OTIS instead of EVIC. Older version of the EVIC system without the dot matrix display and a few features missing, but the option should still be in that menu.

I have a '00, but there isn't an option to change it with the overhead console. (It only shows me fuel economy and other mileage related things).
