One of my favorite back ends of a car, the 1st Gen. New Yorker/LHS. It is something about the back window that makes the car.

First of 10 additions to further enhance the history has been added. Each model, both first and second generations, will have a link with highlights and images for that car line. General highlights and notes have been gathered from various sources making a single historic page for each. I have provided most of the base material, Keith has reviewed, added, formatted, and enhanced the information prior to post.
Some of the minute details, that we may know better than Chrysler, were not included to keep each page a simple read.
If there are any major, glaring errors please PM me or Keith so we correct the information.

All 10 of these are going to be a great read and will be packed with information!

Thanks to Bob for putting in the significant legwork to get them written up. I am going to work on publishing a couple more tomorrow as well.

Each one of these is getting better. Have you guys thought of making them into a book for club members to purchase when they are completed?

This project is almost complete. Images for all years are loaded and some finishing touches being added to the last pages.
Keith and I have been working together on this project hoping it will get our site even more interest as we move forward.

There are 2 last "secret" images yet to be located and loaded. I have them somewhere in my archives and am searching frantically for them.
Stay tuned for the final chapter

I love this idea and vision a hard cover 'shutterfly' type book - however, we would get into a ton of different copywrite issues as not all of the material is ours :-(

That is too bad. Maybe FCA could throw us a bone for the 25th.

Anything stopping us from using this as our "Carlisle Newsletter" for distribution to Carlisle Attendees?
Not that I need another project, :eek , maybe Bill could make something happen??
As I search for my "secret images" (found one so far) I discovered more stuff and will surprise even Keith with a final "fun facts" page to close this project out.

I was thinking the same thing Bob.

We will make this a part of the Carlisle Newsletter for 2018.

I updated the last couple of pages this morning. Bob has an idea for one more page that will be published next week as well.

This is great news! I'm glad I put the thought out there. Can't wait to see it. Maybe it should be titled "This Thing of Ours, 25 years".
