Looking for the rear brake shield the parking brake hardware is attached to. Probably a long shot, but worth posting anyways!

Please PM me if you have both. Mine are falling apart. Thanks in advance.

Hey Ken are you talking about the steel brake dust shields? Mine were rotted also. Couldn't find them used so I had to but new ones. Pricey but I didn't see an option. Junk yard one were just as bad. Got mine through Amazon. I will see if I have the part #.

Check RockAuto. It's been a while since I looked through their catalog but I could swear I saw brake shields. Can't remember if they were front or rear though. Any yard items I've seen have been rusted beyond recognition.

I am not familiar with this part. Is it a metal part that keeps brake dust off of our wheels??? THAT would be awesome.

Generally it keeps everything else off your brakes, such as mud etc
It also sits on the inside of the wheel.hub, surrounding your rear wheel bearing, parking brake assembly etc.

Your car already has them! Ken 's are rotting away. Yours may be too. It is the back plate that the emergency brake mechanism attaches to.
