I was looking at the 2005 winners and their car pictures. looks like there is some great cars out there. Tough competition to win any awards.

Time for lambo doors, custom paint job and a water cooler.

I will be there with my roommate. He recently bought a 2000 300M with luxury package. Same as mine, except its red color with agate interior. We will go pick it up from NJ this Sunday.

I am just confused on one thing. It says there is a registration fee of $10. Is this for the Friday event or for the Sunday event??

 #114000  by Mickey88

the fee is for the Sunday event, without the 10, you don't get a cruise permit, and will be issued a citation if caught driving without it...

glad to see you've recruited another M owner...great job..

A very attractive color combination there! If it is a 2000, no luxury package was available then. It was first available in the 2001 model year.

someone mentioned that the luxury package had the wooden trim/sunroof and all that. Hence I assumed his was luxury package. may be not

Luxury package added the wood rimmed wheel and real wood trim on the doors and dash, EVIC, Auto-tilt outside mirrors, upgraded stereo system. IIRC, sunroof was still a stand-alone option.

But, if it has a wood wheel and an EVIC, either it's a 2001, or somebody changed them out like some of us have done. The under-hood emissions label will state what year the car specifications are. Of course the VIN number tells you too, but off the top of my head, I can't remember what year is what.

Wait, you have an Indian roomate named Guru? Too Funny. Sorry, had to ask.

Ok, I just got back from Chicago and hopefully don't have to work this weekend again, like the last couple. If so, I'm going to pop up to Pottsville for the day on Sunday. Looks like I'm going to take the 300C as my A/C is not working so well in the M. Several LXForums folks are meeting at Martz Hall on Sunday.

LOL. He is still in the process of getting emissions/checkup and all that before he can get registered. Its real hard to find time, since he can only do the job on weekdays. Only Residents or Citizens have the option of registering/getting licensed on a Saturday.
